Baseball America released its top 20 prospect list for the Florida State League (High A) and four Yankee farm hands made the list: Tyler Austin (8), Gary Sanchez (9), Slade Heathcott (17), and Nik Turley (18). Tyler, Gary, and Slade ranked 1, 3, and 5 in my postseason farm system rankings last month and Nik ranked 15th.
I expect Tyler, Gary, and Slade to start the season in Tampa next year while I think Nik will start in Trenton. Congratulations to these guys. I look forward to watching them climb the charts next year.
